beautiful imported Dutch Warmblood gelding that she has competed at
International level with since 2006 & his arrival from Holland to
Australia in January 2007.
Nicole is
having to sell due to health reasons & it was a hard decision for the
extremely successful combination

Paralympian Nicole Kullen searching for a new
horse to continue her Paralympics Campaign
Even though
Nicole is having to sell her current competition horse Nikshar
Nomination, she's definitely NOT giving up on trying to gain
selection to represent Australia at the 2012 London Paralympic Games.
Her National Squad camps have already begun & major selection events started early April which Nicole couldn’t attend due to not having a horse.
So time's ticking!
So, Nicole is desperately trying to get the word out that she's
currently looking for a horse to use as a loan horse to train & compete
on in the lead up to London.
With her health & the fact that she can’t purchase a horse until Nom is sold, her ideal situation that she's currently looking for is someone that will be willing to work with her & allow her to loan their horse with the aim towards selection for London with it.
The horse would be able to stay with its current owner/rider & Nicole
would travel to them to train on the horse with them & their coach, plus
be allowed to use the horse at dressage competitions both locally &
interstate including at Paralympic Selection events & National Squad
Camps & training with her own coach.
Plus then if successful be able to take the horse to London to represent Australia at the Paralympic Games in 2012 all whilst keeping the horse’s team of owners/riders involved along the way.
Unfortunately Nicole's idea of the ideal horse sounds a bit here & there
as it’s hard to explain in writing, but the main things include;
something that has a great walk & trot
is light in the contact
not too spooky in atmosphere
height is not a huge problem, but 16.3hh is probably the tallest, however if its taller but suitable in every other way we could probably work around that
Education is important & medium level & above would be great, however if the horse is able to do the movements Nicole needs in the correct frame & way of going, but just isn’t pointed at a higher level that’s fine as well
Ability for lateral work would also be a huge help
Really, the
best way to explain what’s needed is if someone feels they may have a
horse that might seem suitable, please just give Nicole a call & have a
chat & we’ll go from there. She can then explain her needs for herself &
the horse in more detail when talking over the phone.

AHSA FLOOD APPEAL AUCTION HAS NOW ENDED - CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations to the winning bidders of the service fees to our Nikshar Stud stallions that were part of the auction.
We were proud to have donated a service for each of our 3 stallions
Nikshar Valentino, Nikshar Alladin & Rehal Gold
to be auctioned in the AHSA Flood Appeal Auction that ended on 15 Feb 2011.
We look forward to welcoming you & your mares to our team & look forward to seeing all the beautiful foals that will be produced from this auction.
The AHSA Flood Appeal Auction was a huge success & monies raised will be put to good use to help those in need devastated by the recent floods.

Currently we have several Purebred Arabians, Arabian Derivatives & Welsh Ponies available
for sale & some for lease
from weanlings - 8yr olds of all sexes.
They range in price from $2000 to $4000, but prices for all horses & ponies are negotiable & therefore all offers will be considered to the right homes only! Plus lease arrangements with terms may be available for some.
I'm negotiable as the right home is more important to me than the price. Plus with my recent selection to represent Australia at the 2010 FEI World Equestrian Games (WEG) in Kentucky, USA in Sept/Oct 2010, several horses MUST GO as I really need to raise funds to cover my costs for WEG.
All horses would suit multiple disciplines & vary in height, age & education, with some trained under saddle & others that are not yet started under saddle but are at the age to be able to be. Plus I also have some youngsters as well.
If you would like to see any of the horses we have available, you are
more then welcome to come visit & view them, & vet checks by appointment
are also welcomed.
We also have the sire &/or dam of
the horses here for you to view along with other horses related to those
for sale on the property as well so its a great opportunity to see what
their lines are like.

A bit about Nicole Kullen
In 1996 Nicole
contracted Menningacoccal Meningitis Septicemia. Nicole had both lower
legs amputated & was left with limited arm movement with no function in
both hands & wrists. All of her internal organs were damaged, & she now
relies on Peritoneal Dialysis 4 times daily to keep her alive. Plus,
there's too many other health problems to mention here.
Nicole is a member of the 2010 EA Para Equestrian National Elite Squad & has represented both N.S.W & Australia & has just been selected to represent AUS at the 2010 FEI World Equestrian Games (WEG) in Kentucky, USA.
Nicole competes regularly in EA & FEI Dressage Competitions & also needs to attend specialized training camps & clinics with her coach & the EA National Squad to maintain her level of training as well as her position on the Elite Squad.
All this is to help Nicole continue her success & to help towards gaining selection for future International & Paralympic Games events.. Plus many competitions in between to get there.

Outstanding Achievement Female Award at the 2008 NSW Institute of
Sport Awards Dinner.
Sept 2008 - Nicole was one of five Para Equestrian athletes who represented Australia at the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games - Equestrian Events held in Hong Kong.
In March 2008 - Announced as one of the four Para Equestrians athletes nominated to the Australian Paralympic Committee to represent Australia at the 2008 Paralympics in Hong Kong.
Awarded The Horse Magazine's 'Eqvalan Rider of the Year' for 2007
Represented Australia at the 2007 FEI World Para Equestrian Dressage Championships in held at Hartpury College, United Kingdom. Nicole was one of seven riders who represented Australia at the event. She won a Silver Medal in the Individual Championship, a Bronze Medal in the Individual Freestyle to Music, and a 6th in the Team Test. Nicole was also one of four riders selected to represent Australia in the Teams event, which placed 7th overall. To add to this achievement; Nicole was the only Australian to medal at the event, & the only rider on a borrowed horse to win a medal at the World Championships.
She also won at other competitions whilst over in Britain.
Becoming the 2005 RDAA Australian National Dressage Champion
Awarded '2005 Equestrian Federation of Australia NSW RDA Rider of the Year'
Represented Australia at 'The First International Combined Festival of
Dressage' CPDI4**** International Para Equestrian Competition in Belgium
in Sept 2006. This event was also a Paralympic Qualifier event for the
2008 Beijing Paralympics. After a very successful event, achieving a
4th, =4th & 6th, Nicole is now
qualified for selection for Beijing.
Selected as part of the Paralympic Preparation Dressage Squad (PPP Squad) in 2006 & been selected & part of the RDAA National Dressage Squad since 2002.
Represented Australia in the Trans Tasman Challenge (Aus vs NZ) which Australia won at the 2005 RDAA Australian National Dressage Championships
& so much more...
