Apparently there has been some confusion in the media reporting me as
a Victorian resident. But no I'm from NSW.
Our home was & still is, in Rock Forest, N.S.W, as it has been for the
last few years & I'm very proud to be born & raised in N.S.W all my life.
However, yes, Mum & I were TEMPORARILY at a Victorian residence
for a while (April - Aug 2008) whilst we were there having to train & be
closer to the National Coach who was located in Bunyip, VIC.
But the whole time we were in VIC we still had our HOME in N.S.W &
continued to be residents of N.S.W not VIC.
Also, thank you to all those Victorian's I met who took me in as one of
their own whilst we were there, even though I was from N.S.W.
You'll never be forgotten :)

Foggy pictures happen here often as the heat &
especially the humidity is so high here, as soon as you try to take a
picture/video the lens fogs up..

My hurt finger after a hard night training
session. Nom was quite strong & tore a chunk/flap of skin out. We had to
cut the flap piece off & dress it.. But it definitely wont stop me
riding.

FEI PE Grade 1b Individual Championship Test

A very disappointing 11th after starting the test really well with average scores around 67% -68%, until my horse tripped & fell going down onto his front knees, & then in fright, he tried to regain his footing & threw himself up into mid air then broke into a few canter strides. Thankfully I kept my seat & stayed on, & I then regained him & completed our test. However after the trip I unfortunately lost a lot of marks that were unable to be regained as the remainder of the test Nom was quite tense & even more so distracted by the huge atmosphere then he had been at the start.
Thankfully I did stay on during the trip, however I was injured from being pulled forward & jerked so strongly & suddenly. But I will still be riding the rest of the comp despite that.
The 11th place result & incident was extremely disappointing for me as both myself & the judges (as per their scores & comments) felt my test was going extremely well up until that point, & he was slowly progressing, after an extremely trying few weeks.
Knowing we were up in the medal chances with the start we'd had & that it was then completely gone after the incident, no matter how hard I'd tried to achieve higher scores to regain some marks during the end of the test was heartbreaking.
